Hosting is defined and priced as packages. A package details what services you get for your money. All packages are charged per year, one year in advance.
The standard package consists of 30 MB of web server storage, 5 POP3 emails, and 5GB bandwidth per month (This can be extended as required.
If you web site needs a database for data such as registered users, product listings etc then the next package is the basic package plus 1 MySQL database.
There are a number of additional features that can be added either to create a package or added on as required. These include additional email accounts, more web space, higher bandwidth, additional databases, e-commerce, Forums, Blogs etc.
